A new theater is coming to downtown Los Angeles that will be screening Asian cinema! It’s called the ImaginAsian—there is also an ImaginAsian in New York.
The location used to be the Linda Lea Theater and showed Japanese films to the people of Little Tokyo back in the day. But the new theater was rebuilt from the bottom up.
Fuji TV will be showing a movie series for the ImaginAsian’s inaugural event. I’ve seen “Waterboys” and it’s one of my favorite flicks. Try and come out to Little Tokyo to catch one of these screenings, it’s free!
Each movie has English subtitles and screens at 7:00 pm
Dec 2 - “Antarctica”
Dec 3 - “Suite Dreams
Dec 4 - “Umizaru2 Limit of Love”
Dec 5 - “Waterboys”
Dec 6 - “Bayside Shakedown 2”
