Paprika is a new psychedelic sci-fi adventure from Satoshi Kon, the man who brought you Millennium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers.

In the near future, a revolutionary psychotherapy treatment called PT has been invented.  The device can enter people’s dreams and explore their unconscious thoughts, but in the wrong hands, it has the power to annihilate a dreamer’s personality.  When one of the prototypes is stolen, Dr. Atsuko Chiba must enter the dream world to uncover who is behind the plot to undermine the new invention.

The film opens in New York on May 25 and in Los Angeles on June 1.  As for the rest of you, keep checking the Sony website for updates.  Sweet dreams!

Hey. I just saw Paprika tonight. The story was a bit random and hard to follow, but it was fun.

I love this movie! It wasn’t hard for me to follow at all! But I am use to watching Satoshi Kon’s work! I am a huge fan of Satoshi Kon! As well as Susumu Hirasawa who does most of the music for Satoshi Kon’s films!
