Gloomy Bear

Gloomy is a cute pink bear found as a cub by a boy named Pity.  Pity raised Gloomy thinking that a bear would make a great pet.  But regardless of the young boy’s intentions, Gloomy is still a wild animal with sharp claws, something Pity would discover with painful results.

Gloomy Bear is the brainchild of Mori Chack, a self-taught artist from Osaka, Japan.  Gloomy Bear products range from t-shirts and vinyl toys to plushies and key chains.  The character’s appeal goes beyond cuteness, it has more to do with the bloody results of Gloomy’s violent attacks against Pity.

So let this be a warning.  If you want to adopt a cute, lovable wild creature, one day it might eat you!
