Tofu Oyako‘s head is made out of tofu.  He looks a little sad, but has an earnest face.  When he gets stressed, he sweats. 

Tofu Oyako character goods are very collectible, especially the Kubricks and capsule toys.  Most of what you will find are keychain products and plushies, but there are also some apparel.  And for twice the cute, Tofu Oyako recently did a collaboration with Hello Kitty to release some special character products.

Tofu Oyako is the brainchild of Devilrobots, a creative unit based in Tokyo since 1997.  This year they were busy with exhibits in New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo.  The Tokyo show celebrated Devilrobots’ 10th anniversary with an art collaboration featuring various international artists.

According to Vinyl Pulse, there are plans to tour the 10th anniversary show, so if it drops in a city near you, make sure to check it out!
