Anpanman

Anpanman is one of the most popular kids’ characters in Japan. His head is made out of bread filled with sweet bean paste. He protects his friends from evil germs and helps the unfortunate by breaking off a piece of his head and feeding them. And when he needs to revitalize his power, his maker, Jam Ojisan, bakes a new head to place on his shoulders.
Anpanman is so popular there are two museums dedicated to him. Recently, the Anpanman Children’s Museum opened in Yokohama complete with a shopping mall, kid’s play area and of course a bakery! The original Anpanman Museum is located in southern Japan at the home of Anpanman’s creator, Takashi Yanase.
“Soreike! Anpanman” theme song:
Because this tasty superhero is so popular with kids, Anpanman is a common theme in bento boxes across Japan. Check it out:

That’s superly cute.A bento box of love.
