Designer Naoto Hirooka’s edgy and unpredictable style captures the essence of Tokyo’s fashion subcultures. The punk and rock brand debuted in 1999 and later expanded into sub-divisions exploring gothic-lolita, visual kei, cosplay, bondage and the occult. The best place to find h.NAOTO and its many sub-labels is to check out these four boutiques in Harajuku. Make sure to visit each boutique’s website for plenty of images and information in English.
