AAARRGGHHH! Pirates were spotted on Melrose, LA’s trendy shopping street. Their bounty? A treasure trove of cuteness to be found only at JapanL.A.
We went to JapanL.A. last Friday night to check out the pirate party and see what kind of goodies the store carries.

JapanL.A. carries a wide selection of cute character goods. Besides Gloomy Bear and Afroken, we spotted a whole Hello Kitty section, Badtz Maru, Domo-kun and even Doraemon!
Tokidoki is so hot right now, it should be blamed for global warming. JapanL.A. is your place for everything Tokidoki but they also carry other cute clothing lines and accessories. Check it out for yourselves!

Simone, the mastermind behind Tokidoki drops in to the JapanL.A. pirate party sporting some serious Hello Kitty bling.
Most unique hoodie spotted that night had nothing to do with pirates. The images on this jacket are taken from escort ads found in Japanese telephone booths around Kabuki-cho. Does that mean you can call this guy for a good time?
