Go green tea! Matcha, as green tea is called in Japan, is healthy and tastes good. And now, you can find green tea used in a number of products from desserts to delicious drinks.
Here are some green tea benefits:
- Rich in antioxidants (catechin-polyphenols) said to help prevent cancer, heart disease and slow the process of aging
- Contains many trace minerals and vitamins
(A, B-complex, lots of C, E, and K)
- Reduces harmful cholesterol
- Mood and concentration enhancing qualities
- Half the amount of caffeine of coffee

You won’t need to go to a Japanese tea ceremony to take a sip. Try making your own matcha shake at home:
Ingredients (Two 8 oz. servings)
1 Tbsp Maeda-en Shiki Matcha Powder
2 Tbsp Sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
1. Mix Maeda-en Matcha powder and sugar in small bowl. Set aside.
2. Pour ice into blender. Add milk, Matcha sugar mix and vanilla.
3. Blend for 30 seconds until ice is fully crushed.
4. Serve immediately with whipped cream garnish.

Ha you probaly think I am weird for commenting on every article, but I have fallen in love with this site lol.

Raenn, green tea is very different from english teas, much better for you, and certainly tastes a lot better. (Green tea is at it’s best without milk or sugar, and desserts made with green tea have an amazing taste!) I highly recommend trying out green tea desserts! There are many websites that offer information on the health benefits(like some mentioned above, but health sites may go a little more in depth with the benefits) of green tea as well, google up “green tea health benefits” and you will see what I mean. ^.^ Best of luck, and hope you enjoy.
